About
I am a musician and teacher coming to the end of a practice based PhD on the subject of improvisation. My thesis consists of four projects: a jazz band called The Quartet that I co-led with guitarist and one-time 80’s pop-star Jack Hues, a free improvisation quartet called Spock, a student ensemble at Canterbury Christ Church University called Scratch Orchestra and a duo with composer and turntablist Matt Wright.
